Moving to, Lisbon!

Strategically located to be the center of the world’s commerce, Lisbon is a great inland beautiful city, which is pointing directly to the sea.

Given the advantage of having an almost subtropical climate with many sunny days and almost no wind, what Lisbon mostly provides is a high life quality. It takes a few minutes to get from the city’s downtown to a calm beach or the golf course, while the castles and hills are everywhere, beware and prepare because this is the amazing Lisbon!

It was in the 15th century that Vasco da Gama found a sea route to India, this event truly set a difference into what Lisbon was going to transform into. Wealth was to prosper and stay, and with that, many monuments were built, namely Torre de Belém and Mosteiro dos Jerónimos with their unique and incomparable architectures that characterize the capital region of Portugal. Lisbon offers a vast array of cultural activities, with beautiful museums in historical buildings, namely Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and the equally renowned Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, as well as the possibility to live the city’s heart by traveling on the number 28 train or visiting a Casa de Fado in the narrow and charming streets of Alfama, where you can deepen your knowledge when it comes to Portuguese traditional music gender Fado.

Lisbon is blessed to be the only European capital located so close to sandy Beaches, in a maximum of 20 minutes from downtown, one can easily set foot into the Lisbon district magnificent sea coast, or even one of the many Golf Courses in the area, which are considered to be among the best and most beautiful in the world.

Lisbon monuments are well conserved, in no other city will it be possible to identify the evolution of architecture just by walking in the streets in such a small radius, or seated in one of the viewpoint cafes while drinking a cup of coffee. The Pombaline Downtown architecture style represents an 18th century uniform but elegant planning with large streets and squares where most premium shops and restaurants are located. Praça do Comércio is where the connection between the city and the sea takes place, arguably the most beautiful square in Europe, is very livid and full of people all year around.

Lisbon was considered Tripadvisor 2013 Top destination and one of Monocle Magazine’s Top 25 cities in Europe to live in.
