The city of Braga was founded by the Romans as Bracara Augusta, has over 2000 years of history in constant development, growth and expansion.
Located in northern Portugal, more specically in the Minho is considered the third largest Portuguese city.
In Braga the “Door is always open” as a sign of hospitality. In popular jargon is known as the “City of Guerreiros do Minho”. Braga is older than the contry itself, Portugal wasn’t already born and the city, knowned as “The city of the Archbishops”, was for centuries one of the most important in the Iberian Peninsula.
Today Braga have the best companies working on the technological development and it is becoming the center of the Nanotechnology.
